Much of my experience in professional writing was with BLVE Consults, a boutique nonprofit consulting firm out of Chicago and Toronto. Throughout my time working with BLVE Consults, I found a niche in crafting work proposals, reports, case studies, and grant narratives. I've also crafted a number of both internal and external communications for BLVE including organizational assessments, newsletters, live case studies, and more! 💻

Marwen Arts: Pay Equity Audit Work Proposal

This is a work proposal sample I created from my time as a consultant and project manager with BLVE Consults. We proposed a long term pay equity assessment to support Marwen Arts in a time of transition. We guided executive leadership through a new budgetary frameworks and recommended best practices in alignment with pay equity.

Calpulli Mexican Dance Company: Strategic Planning Proposal

I coordinated and drafted this proposal for Calpulli Mexican Dance Company for Visioning and Strategic Planning Work as the organization ushered in a new operational era. We created this document in collaboration with our Collaborating Consultants, Miranda Gonzalez and Kristin Patton. While we were hired for this project, I was unable to continue work since I pivoted to grad school full time.

This Opportunity Creation Process Narrative laid the ground work for BLVE's live case study with Calgary Arts Development around a new model funding change in arts and culture organizations. I wrote the first draft of the study and designed the document.
